Company History and Management
THE COMPANY is established on November 9, 1994 as pursuant to Establishment Certificate No. 13 by NUZWAR, SH., as a Notary in Jakarta which certificate has already been ratified by Minister of Justice and Human Rights under number : C2-11269.HT.01.01.TH.95.
PT. SUMMITAMA INTINUSA (SI) is directly appointed by PT. PERTAMINA (Persero) to be ASPHALT DEALER FOR EAST JAVA UPDN V REGION. In order to serve asphalt demand in East Java and the wish to develop its service to East Indonesia area in the future, PT. SUMMITAMA INTINUSA has consequently developed Bulk Asphalt Terminal with Port Facility, Hot Storage Asphalt Tanks, Asphalt Filling Truck, Drum Manufacturer, Asphalt Filling Drum, and Asphalt Filling Sack, and provide sufficient transportation for distribution. PT. SI always use its reasonable endeavor to more encourage the avaible potency and resources in order to perform asphalt channeling business that is highly required in this process of development today.
PT. SUMMITAMA INTINUSA's ASPHALT PLANT is located at Ketapang village, Kecamatan Kalipuro, Kabupaten Banyuwangi. The company owns and occupies 17,215 m2 area of land for its asphalt plant in addition to 40.000 m2 coast around the port leased from ADPEL Banyuwangi. Our plant's location is very strategic, at the main road next to DEPO BBM owned by PT. Pertamina Persero and not far from Ketapang Port − Banyuwangi.

DRUM FACTORY AND ASPHALT FILLING DRUM AUTOMATION
Asphalt filling drum process is totally perform by means of automatic computerized system which is highly possible since drum production and asphalt filling drum process is controlled by SIMATIC S5 135 U SYSTEM. The bulk asphalt from storage tank is directly channeled through the heating the heating pipe to be filled into the drums that have already been produced so that so that the asphalt quality will be well maintaned. The automation process can produce 2 to 3 drums per minute.
ASPHALT FILLING SACK
Being supported by the Research & Development and experience in asphalt packaging, PT. SUMMITAMA INTINUSA launches the first special product in Indonesia called SUMMITAMA ASPHALT SACK. It is PERTAMINA ASPHALT PEN 60/70 packed in double poly sack @ 50kg. With this product, we are able to compete with imported asphalt and enter the over − seas market in this globalization era.
