Summitama Intinusa launches its special product the first time in Indonesia namely "SUMMITAMA ASPHALT SACK", which is Pertamina Asphalt PEN 60/70 packed in double poly bag with net weight @ 50 kg per sack. With this product, we can compete with imported asphalt and penetrate the export market in the current era of globalization.

SUMMITAMA ASPHALT SACK has passed the quality test and got a recommendation from the Department of Settlement and Regional Infrastructure; Research and Development of Settlement and Regional Infrastructure; Research and Development of Transport Infrastructure on July 26th, 2004 with report number: 2004-061-APK-14-KOT.

PT. Summitama Intinusa has registered the right of invention of "SACK PACKAGING FOR ASPHALT" in the Directorate General Of Intellectual Property Rights and has been awarded Patent Certificate on 24th September 2008 with Patent Number: ID 0 022 040.

The Advantages of Asphalt Sack:

1.	Cheaper than Asphalt Drum due to packaging difference.
2.	Quality and weight are guaranteed because it can only be produced in our factory.
3.	Inner sack can be heated together with the asphalt, leaving no ± 5% asphalt residue, which is usually found in drum-package asphalt.
4.	Inner sack melt easily at temperature > 130° and it is an additive to increase the quality of asphalt.
5.	Handling is easier due to its practical packaging; Asphalt sack can be lifted by human power, whereas asphalt drum must be lifted by forklift.
6.	Can save on transportation cost, empty drum weight ± 10 kg, while 3 empty sacks only weight 1 kg, therefore we can load 9 kg more asphalt with the same transportation cost.
7.	Transportation volume and stockpile capacity are more than that of Asphalt Drum.
8.	1 container 20' can fit 460 asphalt sacks (23 ton), however it can only fit 110 Asphalt Drum (17 ton).
9.	Storage time is longer than that of Asphalt Drum because sack is not corrosive.
10.	Asphalt Sack can be used directly in Asphalt Mixing Plant (AMP).

Using Instruction :

1.	1. Open and take out the inner plastic bag, cut and throw away the strap. Heat the asphalt together with the inner plastic bag, separate the outside sack.
2.	2. The inner plastic bag will melt at temperature > 130° and it is very good as an additive for increasing the quality of asphalt.
