• Summitama Buton Modified Asphalt (SBMA)

It is an ordinary asphalt modified with Buton asphalt which has better properties than other asphalt varieties. SBMA has high soft points, relatively high penetration, and positive penetration index, therefore, it becomes more resistant to plastic deformation. With high soft points, it is guaranteed that it won’t soften easily under heavy traffic and high temperature up to 70°C. Additional element and antioxidant will make SBMA has a strong support system, more flexible and last longer.
SBMA in asphalt concrete mix is able to engage aggregate granules well, so the granules stick together and have a good flexibility. SBMA is able to hold the asphalt foundation from any movement and to avoid cracking, softening and rippling.
APPLICATION
| The Properties traits application on SBMA not only suitable for heavy traffic roads (AC-Base, AC-BC, AC-WC) but also very suitable for province roads or district roads. |

One benefit from SBMA is it is produced in various sizes, such as barrels, bags, and bulks. Barrels and bags serve many areas in Indonesia, with minimum shipping of one container, while bulks serve only for Java and Bali areas.
